Our paper products are used in hundreds of classrooms across the country. They provide teachers with a variety of uses and also a safe and easy way for students, of almost any age, to express themselves creatively.

In this section, we want give teachers ideas of how they can use our handmade paper products in the classroom. We have also included several lesson plans demonstrating the different uses for our products. However, the possibilities for our handmade paper products are endless.

Handmade mini paper blocks
1. Place one block in a container and add 3 cups of water. 2. Break apart the now wet block, using your hands is the best way to do it. 3. Once the block is broken apart, stir the mixture until the block is fully incorporated. The picture above shows you what the mixture should look like. 4. At this point, you may want to drain the water from the mixture, depending on how you would like to use the pulp. Here we just use a simple strainer and pour the mixture through. You will then have a heavier, thicker pulp.

Using the paper pulp created using the paper blocks
1. Now that you have the strained pulp, use a mold, like this face mold, that you would like to shape the pulp into. 2. Place the pulp into the mold. 3. After putting all the pulp in and spreading throughout the mold, place a towel over the pulp. We used an old dish towel here.

4. Firmly press the towel spreading the pulp. The towel also absorbs much of the excess water still in the pulp.

5. When there is no more excess water in the mold and the pulp is firmly pressed into the mold, take the towel off. Let the mold air dry before you remove it from the mold. This is the end result. These masks can go on to be painted or decorated however you desire.
